Design Core Detroit champions the city’s creative economy by connecting designers, businesses, and communities through impactful programs, high-profile events, and global partnerships. As the steward of the city’s UNESCO City of Design designation, Design Core showcases Detroit’s design legacy and growing creative sector on both local and international stages. The organization leads efforts to strengthen, grow, and attract design businesses while increasing demand for design services across industries. Design Core is a nonprofit organization housed within the College for Creative Studies.
